Q. Where is a good place to eat?

A. You are spoilt for choice with the selection of restaurants on the marina Waterfront, which cater to all tastes. Pop into marina reception for a list of telephone numbers.

Q. Where can I find out the weather forecast for sailors?

A. We post weather reports in prominent locations around the marina. These include 24-hour reports and three-day forecasts.

Q. What can I do on a wet day?

A. There is an eight-screen cinema Cineworld on-site. Tel no 0870 155 5145, a 26-lane 10 pin bowling alley, David Lloyd Health and Fitness Club with a gym and pool.

Q. What is good for families?

A. Take the Volk's - England's oldest electric railway, along Madeira Drive to Brighton Marina. There are traditional fairground rides on Brighton Pier.

Q. Where can I stock up on provisions?

A. There is a large Asda on-site, which is open 24 hours, Monday to Friday, 0800 to 2200 Saturday and 1100 to 1700 Sunday.

Q. Where is the nearest cash point?

A. Outside Asda.

Q. What else can I do?

A. Why not hire a Tuc Tuc - the Thai-style motorised three wheel rickshaws. They operate all year round. They run from Brighton Marina, to the city's pier, station and on to Hove.

Q. What about shopping?

A. Anything and everything. Wander through The Lanes for jewellery, designer fashions, hats and shoes, or for High Street names, head for Churchill Square, which has 80 squares under one glass roof. There is also a comprehensive range of stores at the marina's outlet shopping centre.
